Fay Simpson & Joseph Siravo team up once again to integrate the visceral work of the Lucid Body with intensive voice, speech and text exploration of this most harrowing of Shakespeare’s great tragedies. The primary focus of this 5-week workshop will be exclusively on MACBETH.
You’ll start the workshop by bringing in a monologue from the play that we will give to you before the first class meeting. We will then assign further scenes so that by class 5, you will work as an ensemble, presenting brief selections from this haunting story of the lust for power and the supernatural consequences of murder most foul.
LUCID SHAKESPEARE will be limited to 10 actors.
