The Lucid Body was developed by Fay Simpson as a psycho-physical movement process for actors to aid in connecting to themselves and their characters on a deeper, empathetic level. As a Lucid Body teacher and Drama Therapist, Ashley Kleinman, RDT, LCAT became instantly aware of the therapeutic properties within The Lucid Body and believes it can be a valuable tool for those in the helping professions. We invite creative arts therapists, psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers, counselors, nurses and doctors to join us for this day long workshop. We will discuss and practice the ways in which The Lucid Body can be used in therapeutic interventions, increased mindfulness and burnout prevention through self-care.
5 CE hours are available for Registered Drama Therapists. PLEASE NOTE: These hours are not available to be used towards NYS CE requirements for Licensed Creative Arts Therapists.
